Steppin’ Out
is a six-piece band consisting of a female vocalist, sax, guitar,
keyboards,
bass & drums. The music covered by the group includes
virtually all musical styles's. A strong emphasis
is directed
toward the “Party/Dance” material. They cover lots
of music types, the blues, classics from
the 70’s and 80’s,
rock, Motown, progressive contemporary and dance music; the band
supports
the public’s varied musical interests. (See Song

Steppin’ Out is one of the most sought-after bands in the
region. They have a reputation for
delivering a fun and exciting
live show with every performance.
Years of live performing insure strong performances by all three
lead vocalists and stellar musicianship.
All the musicians are full time professionals with extensive club,
and recording studio experience.
The band has performs throughout the northeast including New York & New Jersey.
Steppin Out‘s schedule includes engagements ranging from club dates, corporate
events, and other functions.
Steppin’ Out travels with full
production. The band owns and operates a professional sound system;
lights and other production insuring a consistent quality show
night after night.

Darlene Leclerc:
Is the female vocalist and front-person of the band. Her powerful
voice coupled with her enthusiastic and energetic performances
have made “Steppin Out” known as great party band.
Her infectious enthusiasm always gets people on their feet.

Doug Jones:
Is a much-heralded saxophonist from the greater New England area.
A truly gifted soloist, he brings excitement to the bands performances.
He has two solo CD releases of original smooth jazz, "Heart
and Soul" and "Shades Of Gray" . Both CD’s
are currently getting wide spread airplay in the New England
market. A winner of the Hartford Advocate's "Best Horn Player “ award.
Doug has performered at "The Greater Hartford Festival Of
Jazz" and opened for, Tower Of Power, Marion Meadows, Van
Morrison, Pat Benatar, The Outlaws, Atlantic Rhythm Section,
Paul Butterfield and Rick Danko, Marion Meadows, Robert Cray,
Ronnie Montrose.

Tommy Sitaro:
Bassist and lead vocalist for the band. Tommy is our
blue-eyed soul man.
He has respected vetreana musician. Beginning in his
early teens he played for Curtis Lee of the Drifters, John
Hall of Orleans, members of the Fabulous Rhinestone and
Felix Cavaliere of the
Young Rascals. He also has extensive
ecording experience with numerous local artists as well
as singing credits on and national commercials. His lead
vocals and bass playing have also been featured in many
local bands including Foxfire, Mr. Big, and Bates Motel.

Gene Tortorici:
Is the drummer & vocalist
of the band. A gifted drummer and singer. He’s a music
graduate of Central Connecticut University. A much sought
after performer, Gene has performed in many of the regions
top bands: Valhalla, Jet, The Naturals, Foxfire, Hip Pocket,
CLC. His singing and driving drum grooves make you want to
rock to your favorite songs. |

Troy Slocum:
The keyboardist for ‘Steppin Out” attended Berklee Music College.
He's lived and worked in Boston, Chicago and now here in New England . A
talented keybaordist and vocalist and the "designated engineer" of
the band. |

John Henry Langley:
John is regarded by many as one of the best vocalist/guitarist
in the New England region. JHL has performed with many of the top
acts on the east coast. From the classic Motown to the Hip Hop
of today John delivers performances that are truly remarkable.
